An officer of the court is supposed to be held to a higher standard than the rest of us, not a lower one. When they go under oath, the stakes get even higher for them than for the rest of us.
Or at least, they should.
There was no shortage of drama in yesterday’s courtroom hearing, first with Nathan Wade (who was accidentally called Mr Willis on several occasions)…
For anyone who may have missed the details, Jesse Watters is one of many TV personalities who stitched together some of the most talked about moments in a monologue…
2 lying lovers wasted taxpayer money on romantic vacations while prosecuting the former president and concocted the most unbelievable cover-up in Georgia history. But this isn’t a Fani and Lover Boy scandal- it’s a Biden scandal. The Biden White House is overseeing the… pic.twitter.com/D5LhW7nWUe

Fani said she is NOT on trial, no matter how much the defense attorneys may wish otherwise.
She waltzed into that courtroom like she owned it sat down and began monologuing about how everyone on the other side was lying as soon as she took her seat. She had obvious contempt for the process and sometimes even spoke to the judge as if he were her subordinate.
There was no shortage of arrogance and entitlement in her testimony, she played the ‘victim’ card often, as well as the race card.
There were moments where the testimony of Wade and Fani seemed awfully convenient and strained credulity — especially all of those ‘cash transactions’ they spoke of. That might come back to a he-said-she-said issue.
The same might be said about some of the details about their relationship.
But at least one detail will absolutely have independent corroboration. And it flies in the face of her own testimony.
She was asked if she had gone to the White House. She answered in the negative.

This tweet has both Nathan and Fani meeting with someone from the White House on separate occasions.

If it can be shown that she perjured herself, that sets this whole case into a tailspin. Trump supporters will want the whole thing thrown out, NeverTrumpers would insist that some other officer of the court continue with the case.
How deliciously ironic that the future of a contrived RICO case could hinge on whether the prosecutor did or did not work in coordination with the defendant’s political rivals.
