Bragg Bitten! Arizona DA Rejects Him, Trust Depleted

We’re in a real crisis here, folks. Our justice system is under threat and we need to pay attention. The New York Police Department is seeking the extradition of a dangerous suspect from Arizona, but the local authorities are refusing to cooperate. Why? They simply don’t trust that justice will be served in New York.

The individual in question is none other than Almansoori, who was nabbed in Arizona following accusations of heinously stabbing two women. This same man is also wanted for the cold-blooded murder of Denisse Oleas-Arancibia, a 38-year-old woman whose life was tragically ended in SoHo 54 Hotel on Watts Street back on Feb. 8. Cops found Denisse dead with an iron used to bludgeon her skull so severely that plastic from the appliance was lodged into it.

Almansoori’s rap sheet doesn’t stop there. This guy was out on bail for allegedly abducting and sexually assaulting another woman in Florida earlier in 2023 when he committed this horrifying act. Despite these damning allegations, D.A. Mitchell in Arizona doesn’t trust Manhattan D.A., Alvin Bragg, to effectively prosecute him.

At a press briefing last Wednesday, Mitchell announced her refusal to extradite the suspect because she believes it’s safer to keep him behind bars in Arizona and prevent him from causing any more harm.

Mitchell has voiced worries about Almansoori potentially being released due to Bragg’s handling of violent criminals. She stated her belief that keeping him locked up would ensure safety for everyone in the U.S.

Currently, Almansoori is in custody without bond. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Bragg’s office defended his record, citing a decrease in murders and shootings since he took office and comparing New York’s murder rate favorably to that of Phoenix, Arizona’s capital.

The arrest happened when Almansoori was caught in a stolen car after an alleged attempted rape at a McDonald’s restroom. He faces multiple charges including attempted homicide, robbery, and assault. He also has an outstanding warrant in Texas.

The NYPD had been tracking Almansoori who was spotted fleeing the crime scene dressed in tight leggings identical to those worn by Oleas-Arancibia during her hotel stay. Blood-splattered men’s pants were found near Oleas-Arancibia’s lifeless body.

Oleas-Arancibia was an Ecuadorian immigrant who came to America five years ago with her 18-year-old son while leaving another son behind. The refusal to extradite Almansoori has been called a “slap in the face” by Bragg’s office spokesperson, accusing Mitchell of playing political games with a murder investigation.

As this legal tug-of-war continues, the victim’s family along with the public are left hanging for justice in this senseless and brutal killing. It underscores the urgent need for consistent and effective prosecution of violent criminals.
