Surveys Reveal What Hispanics REALLY Think of Illegal Immigrants!

The latest CBS News/YouGov poll reveals a surprising stance among Hispanics, indicating strong support for the deportation of illegal immigrants. This contradicts the narrative that Democrats often promote, suggesting a more complex view among this key demographic.

Published on Sunday, the poll showed an overall majority of 62 percent in favor of initiating deportations. Predictably, registered Republicans overwhelmingly support this measure at 88 percent. However, it’s noteworthy that 60 percent of independents also concur with this perspective. The Democratic Party, often seen as opposing such measures, only garnered 38 percent approval from its members for deportation.

According to Breitbart News:

The poll found that if a national deportation program comes to fruition, most respondents would favor empowering local law enforcement to try and identify illegal aliens in their communities. Of the respondents, 62 percent said they would support “local police and law enforcement trying to identify which people were U.S. citizens, and which were undocumented immigrants.” Nearly four in ten voters would oppose this.

Most independents (57 percent) and Republicans (84 percent) would be in favor of police working to identify illegal immigrants if there were a national deportation operation. A majority of 57 percent of Hispanics and nearly half of Democrats (45 percent) would support this as well.

This data points towards an unexpected challenge for Biden’s administration which is already grappling with immigration issues. It appears that even within his own party and among demographics traditionally seen as Democratic strongholds there is considerable support for stricter immigration control.
