This development signifies a strengthening bond between two authoritarian regimes, intensifying concerns regarding arms supplies to Russia’s war machine.

Kim and Russian President Vladimir Putin have revived a Cold War-era pact, promising mutual aid in case of an attack. This agreement not only boosts their diplomatic ties but also poses significant risks to the United States and its allies. Despite claims that the military deal is purely defensive, it stands as a stark symbol of defiance against Western powers.

The alarming closeness between Pyongyang and Moscow was further highlighted during Putin’s first visit to North Korea in 24 years. The leaders signed what they described as “the most powerful treaty in the history of North Korea-Russia relations.” Such diplomatic maneuvering by these nations raises grave questions about America’s foreign policy approach under the current Democratic leadership.

This growing alliance could potentially lead to realignments within global politics and spell trouble for the United States.
