Charlie Daniels Gives America a Fiery Warning From Beyond the Grave

The world of country music was dealt a significant blow in recent years, particularly with the loss of the treasured icon, Charlie Daniels in July 2020. His musical legacy, which stretches over half a century and spans numerous genres, continues to resonate with fans across generations. From his appearances in movies and commercials to his unforgettable live performances, Daniels consistently captured audiences worldwide. Amidst ever-changing musical landscapes, one thing remained constant – Daniels’ unflinching love for America.

Upon inheriting his father’s website after his passing, Charlie Daniels Jr.,, unearthed something quite intriguing. It appears that even posthumously, the late singer’s blog posts maintain striking relevance today. One such post commences with a quote from 2 Thessalonians 3:10 –“The one who is reluctant to work shall not eat,”– inked on Labor Day back in 2015.

“We came up in a society where work ethic was honed and drilled into young folks’ heads from the time they could walk. It was well understood that once you took your feet out from under your mother’s table, you were on your own,” Charlie said.

“I’ve picked cotton… I consider it a blessing knowing what truly hard physical work is all about…,” He recalled an America of yesteryears.

In 2015 while Barack Obama presided as president, Charlie wrote,“It seems that under the current administration…the traits that made America… have been traded in for dependence on the government.”. This sentiment remains true today as we witness our great nation being run down by those who favor handouts over hard work.

“The mind-washed kids who have had their mental processes warped by some revolutionist college professor who regards [Saul] Alinsky and Karl Marx as prophets…”

Daniels added, “Then there’s the mindless bunch who have no idea what they are protesting… ‘Nuff said.”

“So, America if you don’t want to live in a society-run amuck … support our police,… while it counts so much.” This was Daniels’ wake-up call about those determined to demonize our law enforcement agencies.

Above all else, Daniels was a devout Christian.

“My point folks is that this world gets more evil, more dangerous… and the truly scary thing is, it ain’t gonna get no better, it’s only going to get worse,” Daniels warned in one blog post.

The late Charlie Daniels made his final post on July 3, 2020. He reflected on Independence Day, expressing his enduring love for America and faith in its hard-working citizens. Despite the challenges facing our nation, Daniels remained optimistic about America’s future.

In his song My Beautiful America he encapsulates these sentiments:

This then is America!

The land God blesses with everything

No Alps, No Andes

America the Free

America the Mighty

America the Beautiful

Offering sage advice about America’s future, he said:

“Until America starts electing leaders who are willing to take responsibility for their own actions… there will never be street-level justice in America.” Daniels cautioned, “Don’t give your vote to some jaded old charlatan or attractive young firebrand with skin-deep abilities and commitments. Measure twice, cut once. Pray for our troops, our police, and the peace of Jerusalem. God bless America.”

The wisdom and warnings of Charlie Daniels reflect the current state of America under Democratic rule. They serve as a poignant reminder that his words are just as relevant today as when he first wrote them.
