More and more conservatives are using social media to reveal their discovery of being included in a secret watchlist known as SSSS, Quad S, or Secondary Security Screening Selection by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Being on this list can lead to extra security measures such as pat-downs, additional luggage checks, explosive swabs, and longer waiting times at airport security, causing stress for passengers.
This list gained attention when investigative journalist James O’Keefe found the SSSS designation on his boarding pass. He shared his experience on X, expressing his surprise and confusion. O’Keefe also received information from a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) employee indicating that the list may have become politicized post-Jan. 6, and that a system called “secure flight” manages the list by checking passengers’ names and birthdates voluntarily provided during ticket booking.
According to the DHS source, in the past, entering the wrong birthdate when booking a ticket could avoid SSSS screening. Former U.S. Senate nominee Lauren Witzke faced similar challenges, having to arrive at the airport three hours early to undergo thorough screening. Her request for information about the SSSS list was denied, and she was removed from the list shortly after.
Conservative activist Brandon Straka was also placed on the TSA’s “domestic terrorism” watchlist and required extensive screening and monitoring by TSA agents and dogs at the airport. He stated that resources were being used to target Trump supporters, affecting the safety of everyone associated with them.
Insider Confirms Air Marshals Tracking J6 Participants
Sonya LaBosco, the Air Marshal National Council (AMNC) Director, revealed that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) had instructed the Federal Air Marshals Service (FAMS) to continue monitoring “suspected” protesters involved in the January 6 event, compromising the security of airline passengers.
“You did not have to go to the Capitol, or the rally and you’ve been put on a specific list that TSA now has assigned air marshals to follow these people who have not had any type of criminal investigation,” the AMNC director disclosed. This has depleted air marshals’ resources, diverting attention from protecting passengers on flights.
to a funeral near Washington that day in 2021. According to LaBosco, people might have known at that time that they were being followed because they were selected for special screening and increased security measures at the airport, the Quad S list.
