California School Goes Ballistic When Teachers Take Stand For REAL Women

A court has been asked to decide if a California school district is disobeying the court’s orders by refusing to reinstate several teachers who blew the whistle on the district. The Thomas More Society, representing the teachers, reported that the Escondido Union School District and Rincon Middle School have refused to let teachers Elizabeth Mirabelli and Lori Ann West safely return to work despite a court ruling against the district.

Paul Jonna, the organization’s lawyer, said, “Elizabeth Mirabelli and Lori Ann West have been vilified, harassed, and targeted since they spoke up for the rights of parents, students, and teachers—like themselves. Rather than protecting their employees, EUSD has done nothing to ensure their safety and has turned a blind eye to the threats and discrimination targeting them.”

The teachers got into trouble for disagreeing with the promotion of transgenderism and for raising concerns about the district wanting them to keep students’ gender dysphoria situations secret from parents. They are now suing the school, district, and state officials for violating the Constitution’s Free Speech and Free Exercise Clauses.

Jonna explained, “In issuing the injunction, the court recognized that being precluded from doing your job is ‘irreparable harm’—harm that can never be undone. But the district has refused to bring them back into the classroom.”

The teachers are being represented by the Thomas More Society in their fight against the Escondido Union School District, which has refused to allow them to return to work despite a court ruling against the district.
