When you take on JD Vance, you better come prepared because he’s not one to back down easily—especially when faced with baseless accusations from left-leaning media outlets like CNN. In a recent post-debate interview with Kaitlan Collins, Vance masterfully dismantled her attempts to corner him over an issue that’s driving Democrats into hysteria: cat memes.
Yes, cat memes! The absurdity doesn’t stop there—these memes stemmed from alarming reports out of Springfield, Ohio where residents claimed Haitian migrants were slaughtering geese, ducks and even people’s pets! President Trump highlighted this shocking issue during his debate appearance as yet another consequence of our out-of-control border crisis—a crisis exacerbated by Kamala Harris’s disastrous policies.
The debate moderators—clearly biased towards Kamala Harris—dismissed these reports outright by citing comments from Springfield’s city manager denying any truth to them.
But here’s where things get interesting: local residents tell a very different story.
She asked, “Trump brought up this misleading, false claim about Haitian immigrants abducting pets and eating them, which officials there have said is not true. You yourself acknowledged it may be false yet you told people to keep spreading it. Why push something that’s not true?”
Kaitlan Collins tried hard but failed miserably at painting Vance as some kind of conspiracy theorist Republican pushing false narratives.
Vance didn’t miss a beat: “We’ve heard from numerous constituents… firsthand and secondhand reports saying this stuff is happening,” he retorted confidently before adding how important it was for journalists like Collins herself actually get boots-on-the-ground instead relying solely upon official statements which often don’t reflect reality experienced by ordinary citizens dealing directly with these issues daily basis!
