DeSantis Vs. Newsom … And Trump Won!

Did you watch the “red state blue state” debate Thursday between California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis?

Sean Hannity, the moderator, started the debate by expressing a desire for an open discussion. But the conversation quickly turned chaotic and escalated into a shouting match.

The pundits on the left say Newsom won, while those on the right claim DeSantis emerged victorious. However, amid their attempts to outshout each other, it became evident that neither possesses the commanding presence of Trump.

What did we learn from the debate? “If Newsom represents average Democrats, then it’s clear that they lie,” as written by WND News Center. Newsom’s body language and words were analyzed to conclude that “his lies spewed out like Old Faithful.” Here are just three:

1. Newsom claimed that taxes in Florida hurt poorer people more than taxes in California, even though data showed that the sales tax, property tax, and gasoline tax in California are more than twice as much as in Florida. However, Florida has no income tax, so it’s unclear how “none” in Florida could hurt poorer people more than California’s taxes.

2. When confronted with a graph showing the higher per capita violent crime rate in California compared to Florida, Newsom redirected the discussion to assert that mass murders were more prevalent in Florida. Yet, data from the U.S. government illustrated that mass murders in California were four times those in Florida.

3. Newsom misrepresented the migration patterns between California and Florida, despite evidence showing a net migration from California to Florida. California lost a congressional seat after the latest census, while Florida gained a congressional seat due to the substantial population shift.

Reflecting on this debate, it’s insinuated that we should anticipate more deception from Democrats and mainstream media in the future, akin to what was observed in 2020 concerning COVID, Hunter’s laptop, and election fraud.

The article highlights the fact that DeSantis and other Republican candidates trail behind Trump by more than 40 points, suggesting that it’s because they don’t measure up to Trump’s stature, demeanor, and fighting spirit.
