Joe and Jill Biden visited Normandy last Thursday to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day, a pivotal event in world history. However, instead of paying due respect to the occasion, Biden’s actions were an embarrassment on the international stage. The President spent five days in France, attending D-Day ceremonies and meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. But his behavior during this time was far from presidential.
Regrettably, Joe Biden’s antics were not befitting a leader of his stature. He sat down on an invisible chair, boasted about killing Russians, fell asleep during the ceremonies and had to be hurried away by Jill Biden, who seemed more like a nurse than the First Lady.
Adding insult to injury, when Biden arrived at Omaha Beach he appeared completely lost. His disorientation was evident and it’s disheartening to see such lackluster leadership representing our great nation on such an important occasion.
The humiliation didn’t stop there. Caught on a hot mic while walking near the beaches with Macron, Biden revealed that his team planned to extract him early from the D-Day celebrations. He said: “My advance team said I gotta be the first one to leave because I hold people up,” sounding more like a schoolboy than a world leader. It was truly embarrassing!
In conclusion, Biden’s behavior during his trip to France is a clear indication of his lack of leadership and respect for historical events. His actions were not only embarrassing but also disrespectful towards those who fought and died on D-Day. We can only hope that future commemorations will be treated with the reverence they deserve.
