Like father, like daughter – the Biden family’s gaffes seem to be hereditary. This was apparent during a recent event held at the White House celebrating LGBT pride month. The first daughter, Ashley Biden, was brought out to speak on the South Lawn for this national celebration. However, it seems that she might have inherited more than just her father’s political connections.
During her speech, Ashley emphasized her work as a social worker and the importance of children feeling loved and accepted. Unfortunately, in doing so she fumbled over the acronym “LGBTQ”, much to everyone’s surprise. With such a significant platform, one would expect her not to make such simple mistakes.
Ashley began, “I see every day how important it is for children to feel loved, accepted and supported.”
“It’s everything,” she continued. “Unfortunately, as we know, not all children grow up this way. Too many LGBTQ children grow up in homes that don’t accept them — or if they’re accepted at home, they go to school each day and either have to hide a piece of who they are or are bullied because of it.”
Ashley then forgot which letters of the alphabet to use, “LGBCT–” she paused to blink, and corrected herself. “LGBTQ students deserve to be safe at school, at home and in their communities, period.”
To be fair, it’s hard to keep up with which letters the alphabet community is using for their fairytale delusions.
