Rep. Neil Friske Claims He Was FRAMED Following Scandalous Arrest!

Neil Friske, a stalwart Republican Representative for Michigan, who was recently arrested and is currently under investigation, has boldly declared his innocence. On a radio show aired on Monday, he reaffirmed his commitment to his position in the Michigan House, stating that he had done nothing wrong and will not succumb to calls for him to step down. He also claims that he was setup.

Friske’s arrest occurred near his Lansing home last Thursday morning following a police response to reports of a male with a gun, chasing a stripper, and potential shots fired.

Despite the serious nature of these allegations, Friske was released from jail by Friday as Ingham County Prosecutor John Dewane requested further investigation into claims of sexual assault, assault and a weapons offense.

“I can’t really comment on the specifics of things,” Friske said during the interview. “But … just the way events unfolded it was very clear to me that something wasn’t right and I was being framed and trying to be framed and being set up.”

He continued, “And that’s how these people work, you know? And it’s just so frustrating. It’s just amazing to me how desperate people are that they go to these kinds of lengths to try to destroy someone.”

Meanwhile, Democrat State Representative Phil Skaggs jumped the gun by calling for Friske’s resignation even before full details of the investigation were disclosed.

Ingham County Prosecutor John Dewane has requested further investigation into these allegations against Friske before deciding on charges. While we await these investigations to conclude, it’s crucial to remember that everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
