WATCH: Drone Saves Toddler Lost in Cornfield – It’s a MIRACLE!

A recent incident in Alto, Wisconsin, showcases the power of technology and dedicated law enforcement working hand-in-hand to save lives—something that liberal policies often fail to prioritize.

In a press release by the Fond Du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement officials wrote, “Our Deputies responded to a call of a lost 3-year old child that had wandered off into a 100+ acre corn field. Given the night time conditions and large area to be searched, Deputies quickly assessed the need for a drone with thermal capabilities. The Fond du Lac Police Department Technology Response Group assisted, and within minutes the drone operator was able to direct ground units to the child.”

This heartwarming rescue operation highlights what can be achieved when we invest in crucial technologies for our brave men and women in uniform. Despite constant opposition from Democrats who seem more interested in defunding these essential services, the effective use of a thermal imaging drone by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office led to the swift location and rescue of a missing 3-year-old boy.

The parents of the child reached out to authorities at around 8:49 p.m., reporting their son missing in a vast cornfield behind their home. The Alto Fire Department and Fond du Lac Police Department quickly mobilized, deploying a drone equipped with thermal cameras to scan the area. By 9:30 p.m., the drone pinpointed a heat spot—a small white dot on the thermal camera—in the middle of the cornfield. This quick action guided deputies and fire personnel directly to the child’s location.

The successful rescue was completed by 9:46 p.m., with the child found unharmed roughly half a mile from his home. The sheriff’s office emphasized that without this advanced technology, it would have taken hours to search the entire cornfield, potentially leading to a tragic outcome.

“Instances like these highlight the importance of technology and collaboration amongst law enforcement in our community,” said the sheriff’s office. “Without the use of the thermal imaging drone, it would likely have taken Deputies and other first responders hours to search the entire cornfield and the outcome may have been different.”
